Cape Coral Oktoberfest 2026: German Food, Live Music & Family Fun

Cape Coral Oktoberfest 2026: German Food, Live Music & Family Fun

The celebration continues October 23–25 at the German-American Social Club. Here’s what to know before you go.

I came for an afternoon with the kids and potato pancakes—but I had no idea Cape Coral Oktoberfest was this big!

We visited Saturday, October 17, around 12:30 p.m., when it wasn’t too crowded yet. That gave us room to explore the grounds, browse vendors, and see what this longtime Cape Coral tradition has to offer.

Now in its 41st year, the festival returns for its final weekend October 23–25, 2026, with German food, beer, live music, dancing, and activities for families.

Come Hungry: German Food & Beer

During our visit, I tried Kartoffelpuffer—German potato pancakes—with sour cream and applesauce on the side. I ate both together with the pancakes, and the sweet applesauce and cool, tangy sour cream were surprisingly delicious!

Of course, I couldn’t leave Oktoberfest without trying a German beer. I went with a Bitburger Premium Pils.

There’s plenty more to eat, including schnitzel, bratwurst, sauerbraten, pretzels, potato salad, and German cakes. Sit-down dinners are available in Von Steuben Hall, while food stands around the grounds give you opportunities to grab something as you explore.

Family Fun & Live Entertainment

Our early afternoon visit worked well with the kids. There were bounce houses and games, plus vendors and plenty of space to explore during that part of the day.

For anyone looking for things to do in Cape Coral this October, the festival combines German food, shopping, live music, and entertainment in one outing.

The second weekend’s Big Tent lineup includes Maselheimer Musikanten and Die Aichers, with Hafenkapelle and Kellyn Celtic Arts also appearing Saturday.

In the Bavarian Garden, highlights include:

  • Friday: The Outsiderz and Rock Candy.
  • Saturday: Manni Daum Trio, Mockingbird, and Deb & the Dynamics.
  • Sunday: Hafenkapelle and Remedy.

Check the official Oktoberfest Guide for performance times, the grounds map, and schedule updates.
